Upcoming Film Project - March 1, 2022 (Black Bridge Road)

The INVEST Cambridge team is pleased to be welcoming the first of a few projects schedule for March!  “Hello Stranger” is the futuristic story of a widow, who in an attempt to fill the void left by her husband’s passing, has replaced him with an android. This project stars Jordana Brewster (Fast and the Furious), Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Luke Grimes (Yellowstone).

Affected locations:

  • Black Bridge Rd between Baldwin Dr and Townline Rd

Anticipated Impacts:

  • Full closure of Black Bridge Rd between Baldwin Dr and Townline Rd on March 1, from 7am to 7pm.

Special Advisories:

  • LRX (lighting crane) parked at 855 Blackbridge Rd
  • SPFX Rigging crane parked in Boat launch lot
  • Simulated car crash

Parking:

  • The majority of onsite needs will be accommodated by private property owners
  • Basecamp will be located at Hespeler Arena
  • Various pieces of equipment may be parked within the closure on Blackbridge Road (while maintaining one lane of emergency access at all times)

This project will be monitored by Paid Duty Officers from WRPS to ensure public and crew safety.
