History
Cambridge has a history of industrial growth and development dating back to the 1800s. Local governments marketed planned industrial building lots as early as the mid-1800s, which established the strong presence of industrial development that exists today.
The City continues to invest in infrastructure to create industrial business parks that offer serviced industrial land that is ready for immediate development. The newest park is more than 100 acres of serviced land known as the Boxwood Business Campus.
