March 1, 2018 Cambridge named one of Ontario's top locations for real estate investors 

The Real Estate Investment Network  has placed Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo in 2nd place in Ontario's top locations for home buyers and real estate investors over the next five year period. Factors analyzed included GDP growth, population growth, employment statistics, house prices, overall affordability, rent and vacancy rates and more.  Learn more

Statistics related to growth

Over the past 10 years, annual investments of about $244 million went towards building development in Cambridge. One third of that went to developing new residential areas.

The average annual population growth of Cambridge is just over 1 per cent. Employment growth over the last census period (from 2011 to date) has been 3 per cent annually. Over the past five years, the rate of new business establishment increased by 3.4 per cent annually.
